From 6 weeks to 12 months old

CT6Cross Timbers’ infant daycare program is for children between about 6 weeks to about 12 months old, and the children are placed into two classrooms based on age and level of development. We communicate with parents through a program called Tadpoles, which allows our teachers to give daily reports on an infant’s progress via email or the Tadpoles App. We love this system because it allows us to send pictures and videos as well as track the specific details regarding feedings, diaper changes, etc.

Our experienced nursery caregivers provide a warm, nurturing, and secure home away from home for the infants in our care. Babies in our care are also provided with:

  • A cozy and safe sleeping space within sight and range of hearing at all times
  • Continuity of care in a familiar setting with the same caregiver every day
  • Plenty of cuddling, rocking, singing, speaking with, and being read to
  • A daily routine that balances teacher- and child-initiated experiences
  • Opportunities to participate in activities with the other children as appropriate to age and development

Full time schedules are preferred for our infant and toddler daycare programs due to licensing limitations (we are only allowed to enroll so many infants and/or toddlers into a program. Part time schedules may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Each child will develop:

  • A strong sense of self and emotional security
  • A sense of well-being and discovery
  • Gross and fine motor skills
  • Visual and auditory perception
  • Cognitive awareness
  • Social skills

Cross Timbers Preschool & Daycare will provide:
